Ah, after the equinox, the nights lengthen and we descend into the underworld along with Persephone and Avalokitesvara. There’s treasure, too: grapes and wheat, pomegranates and memory, and a kind of clear light that appears in autumn.
We’re learning how to live when everything changes. Meditation is the way.
