What does the One return to?
—PZI Miscellaneous Koan Collection
When I sit with this koan, a passage from the Heart Sutra comes along to keep us company:
Form is emptiness, emptiness is form;
Form is exactly emptiness, emptiness is exactly form;
Whatever is form is emptiness, whatever is emptiness is form.
Which in my mind morphs into:
Form is the One, the One is form;
Form is exactly the One, the One is exactly form;
Whatever is form is the One, whatever is the One is form.
Then another koan involving “the One” comes along:
When all things return to the One, even gold loses its value.
When the One returns to all things even pebbles sparkle like jewels.
Then I find myself remembering all those messages on PZI Talk about Corey being everywhere. How there are moments in our accompaniment of Corey on her journey, in whatever way we do as a community, that sparkle like jewels.
Can you see them? Can you feel them?
