As late summer sun burnishes the edge of autumn, we might hear the sounds of a harvest in the vineyard at night, or the song of a golden-crowned sparrow arriving, from a four-thousand-mile migration north, at its very same perch in the garden.

September is a time of turning and return, the harvest moon and the autumnal equinox, a deep and beautiful occasion to sit together in candlelit meditation.

Come join us for our Sounds of September on Tuesday evenings, as a cricket chorus plays, and we hear the rustling of sycamores under silent stars.

Meditation is a way of listening to the night, to the ancients, and to our own golden life singing.

You are invited to join us for an hour of candlelight meditation. Turn off all your electric lights, light candles and enter the temple of the place in which you now reside. We will sit together in twilight, candlelight, moonlight, starlight.
