The Grail Quest is deeper than most stories; it was told at a time of great change in Western culture and might help us now. We meet the wounded Fisher King and go to his mysterious palace in a wasteland, we see marvels but the palace disappears when we leave. We are instructed and excoriated by a sorceress who is a monster with tusks but also learned, wears a cape with turtle dove designs, and helps us resolve our quest. Love is an important part of the mystery.
People go to abandoned places to search for their true nature.
