This is an open meditation and discussion group reflecting on koans from The Blue Cliff Record (translations by John Tarrant and Joan Sutherland) as well as from The Mumonkan or Gateless Barrier, among others. We have members from the Pacific Zen Institute and local Awakened Life communities, and others too! Anyone interested in opening the door to the wild and wonderful world of koans can attend. We welcome one and all!

We also host John Tarrant for retreats in Santa Fe.
