San Mateo Zen Community

The San Mateo Zen Community is a welcoming group of Silicon Valley and San Francisco professionals, homemakers, craftspeople and students, who meet to explore and practice Zen.

The path we have entered is at once both fresh and ancient, both impermanent and enduring. Often using Zen koans as gates, we walk a path of discovery and freedom. Welcome.

Jon Joseph, Roshi is the lead teacher at SMZC.

We gather on: Monday evenings, 7-8:30pm, and on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
