Shitou's Rightful Heir

KOAN:

Daowu asked, “Who is the rightful heir of the sixth ancestor?”
Shitou said, “The one who understands Buddha-Dharma attained it.”
Daowu asked, “Did you obtain it?”
“I don’t understand Buddha-Dharma,” said Shitou.
