Join us for our Winter long retreat (Sesshin) at the beautiful and cozy Santa Sabina Center.
Meditation is really about the most beautiful way to live and in sesshin the heart simplifies, thoughts go quiet, and the world steps forward and shines. Your own true nature becomes visible.
In this retreat we’ll explore walking through a gate into a new way of living and of listening to life.
Questions like, “Who am I? What is this? Is today a good day? When cold and heat visit us what can we do?” are truly ancient meditations; They are the core of the journey and the most portable form to practice loving your life. Winter brings purity and inward intensity to the meditation.
We have evolved a kind of retreat that is deep and intimate and clarifying and leads to life-changing understandings. In this we rely on the unknown and are held up and sustained by the great force in things. Unexpected gifts appear. There will be meditation, conversation, walks in the hills in redwood and eucalyptus, views of the bay, and a chance to be at home in your own life.
Join us in January and open a space for the year to come.
