Mysterious Tasks & Impossible Problems—
Koans That Give You Vertigo
10:30 am –12 pm Pacific Time
Sunday, September 25th, 2022
John Tarrant takes up a series of predicament koans on Sundays for a few weeks; meaning a small path into the Dao, a class on predicaments.
When autumn begins, some things dissolve, and space appears even inside predicaments. September rhymes with memory, piled up gold and blue distances appear together, sometimes the spiritual life helps you out of difficulties. You can become one with the flow of events.
Stop the sound of the distant temple bell.
That bell has been ringing since before the beginning of the stars, outside of all our calculations and measurements, and perhaps we see that we are all interconnected and interwoven.

Meditation is not a task with a known goal. It’s something you can’t do wrong, a chance for the things of this world to come towards you and to meet you, for doors to open by themselves, and for us to see where the ancient paths lead.
Waking up is something we do together, in the online temple on Sunday. We love it when you join us.
