The Buddha looked up and saw the morning star and awakened.
He cried out, “Now, at last, I see that all beings have the nature of the one who comes thus. Only their delusions and attachments keep them from realizing this."

In this autumn time of turning in and finding rest, join us as we deepen together and discover the many ways practice can hold and nourish us.
Sitting together reveals the heart of practice and community. This year we entered two month-long training periods which brought us together across continents and time zones to share koans, poetry, and deep silence. We learned just what a powerful thing it is to have that regular meeting place.
In the spirit of thanks to all our members for being part of PZI, we’re lighting the candles of the Open Temple once again beginning Monday, November 22. Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until the end of the year our leaders will offer temple bells, koans, and two sitting periods in the online temple.
There is a cushion for you in the Open Temple!
EAST TEMPLE will sit from 7-8:00 AM EST (4-5:00 AM PST)
WEST TEMPLE will sit from 6-7:00 AM PST (9-10:00 AM EST)
If you are a current PZI member, paying monthly or annual dues:
No payment is needed. The Year’s End Open Temple is part of your membership contribution. We will email you a recurring zoom link to attend the M-W-F morning meditations hosted by PZI leaders and teachers.
You’re invited to attend any or all sessions as you wish.
Your contributions to this fund go directly to help us offer generous scholarships for attendance at PZI Zen Online 1-day & 2-day retreats, and at our three annual 4-day sesshins in the PZI Digital Temple. There is no replacement for this generosity.
