After the Dark and the Cold, Come the Blossoms: Spring Sesshin with John Tarrant and Friends
April 7 @ 4:00 pm - April 11 @ 6:00 pm$445 – $500
After the long cold and the dark night, the blossoms open one by one, then all at once.
A traveler was walking along meditating as best he could, lost in the narrow canyon and the cold of winter. He rounded a bend and saw, on the opposite wall of the canyon, a peach tree in full blossom. When he saw that tree in flower, the shock opened his heart and mind.
For thirty years I searched for a master swordsman.
How many times did the leaves fall,
and the branches burst into bud?
But from the moment I saw the peach blossoms,
I’ve had no doubts.
The world is not alien, it recognizes you—anything you meet holds all meetings. You don’t need to know what happens next, you have your own life now. Everything else follows from the peach blossoms.

Dear PZI Friends—
After winter, it is good to gather in the temple. In spring, things that we do not yet know about will flower. We come together across oceans and continents with PZI members, teachers, musicians, and those new to PZI. We can discover things which we could not discover alone. There’s a scholarship fund for PZI members who want to attend and need financial assistance. If you’re not a member, we invite you to join us today! Click on the register link for more details, and get in touch with our registrar.
Thank you for all you have offered to PZI during these last many months, andthese last many decades. It’s nice to have each other as we find our way.
