A Special Holiday Retreat with John Tarrant & Rachel Howlett
Friday evening, December 7th & Saturday, December 8th
star

December 8th is the traditional day in Zen for commemorating the enlightenment of the Buddha. The story is that after meditating all night the Buddha looked up and saw the morning star and this catalyst changed everything for him. He exclaimed, "Now I see that all beings have the nature of the one who comes thus, only their delusions and attachments prevent them from realizing this fact."

We're honoring the Buddha's enlightenment with a special retreat where we'll explore the Buddha's life and how his enlightenment touches our own lives.

Every year we celebrate the Buddha's awakening near the dark of year. It's a retreat to see where we are on our road and to prepare and strengthen ourselves before we plunge into the holidays.

ABOUT THE RETREAT
In this retreat we'll explore the Buddha's life and how his enlightenment touches our own lives.

This retreat is a popular PZI tradition. The story of the Buddha becomes familiar, but it is possible to discover new things about our own life and our own path each time we encounter the story of the Buddha's life.
